Shangri-La Series: Shangri-La #30

Shangri-La #30

  • The home town I grew up in is along the coast, and is known for its monsoon season. I can't count how many number of times that I have drenched myself in rain. Early morning vibe after a rainy day had a beautiful effect on the surroundings. Relishing a hot cup of morning coffee in my hand with a blanket wrapped around me, I smelt the fragrance of fresh air, patiently stared at the droplets of rain dripping from the leaves, felt the wet silky bed of moss on piled rocks, enjoyed watching neighborhood children jumping on water puddles, and then suddenly, I hear my mom calling my name and asking me to get ready for school. Ahhh...those precious days...⠀
