While I was growing up, it's a tradition to visit my grandma's house, and my cousins, my siblings, and I would stay together all throughout the summer. We used to wade through the trail in our backyard that led us to the tail end of a nearby train station. Sometimes we stood there for a long time counting the endless number of cars on the freight train. I find the sound of a train whistle soothing and it makes me nostalgic. ⠀
